Ultimate Psychiatry offers consultation, evaluation and treatment to children 8 years-of-age and older. We serve patients with a wide range of mental disorders and behavioral disturbances, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more. We provide a holistic approach to mental health, using medication, therapy, and alternative remedies.  With child and adult psychiatry, we believe it is vital to honestly care, educate and empower clients that are struggling with mental and behavioral illnesses. A collaborative approach to care helps to increase treatment compliance, improves open communication, respects the clients’ concerns.  This helps to reduce barriers for treatment based on mental health stigma.  Fundamentally, each client wants to feel connected and understood by their provider.​

Adult, Child and adolescent psychiatry have changed over the years, as clients have limited time with their providers.  However, we use an evidence-based approach and do not just give medicines abruptly as this does not get to the root of each underlying mental health condition and can often cause many side effects. At Ultimate Psychiatry we believe that providing our clients with medical education is key! We do prescribe medications, but we will analyze the cost and benefit to ensure it is what is best first.  Mental and Behavioral disorders often need to be addressed with therapy, as medication only helps to alter chemical imbalance in the brain.  Therapy helps alter your patterns of thinking and gives you a clear perspective of your life, which can be helpful with therapy.
